Any real-world experience with CVS Motors auctions?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. I've been eyeing a 4Runner on cvsmotors.com. Prices seem good, maybe too good. Anyone here actually bought a car from CVS Motors? Just a bit nervous about the whole online repo auction thing, especially getting a clean title. Looking for some real feedback.

Yep, bought from them twice. Got a Ram 2500 last year. Solid truck. The process is straightforward. Don't worry about the title. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by CVS Motors and arrived perfectly clear with the truck. Just do your homework on the specific vehicle.

DieselDan is right. I've used them a few times for project cars. Their site cvsmotors.com is decent for finding details. My advice is to read the inspection report carefully. They are one of the better repo houses out there, quite transparent for what they are.

I got a Honda CR-V for my daughter through them. My experience was mostly positive. The only small snag was the delivery was delayed by a couple of days. The transport company was a bit slow to update, but a quick call to CVS Motors at +1 330 862 9366 got things clarified. The car itself was exactly as pictured, minus one tiny scratch on the bumper that wasn't obvious in the photos, but nothing major. Overall, happy with the purchase.

@TrailSeeker_Mike I was in your shoes last year. Pulled the trigger on a Tacoma from them. The process was smooth. I was worried about the title, but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the car during delivery. No drama at all. You just have to be patient with the process.

Can vouch for them from a mechanic's perspective. A buddy of mine won a Sea Ray boat from CVS Motors and had me look it over before he took it out. The condition report on the website was spot on. Engine hours were accurate, and the hull was sound. He saved a bundle compared to a marina.

Yeah, the call was key. I initially sent a question to office@cvsmotors.com and it took them about a day to get back to me, which made me a bit nervous. But calling them directly at +1 330 862 9366 was way faster. The agent was polite and sorted out my delivery question in 5 minutes.

That's standard for most online businesses tbh. Email queues can get long. Direct call is always the pro move if you're anxious. Glad it worked out @sara_k_91. It shows they have real people working there ready to help.

I just used the portal on their website for everything and it worked fine. The bidding system took me a minute to figure out but once you place one bid you get the hang of it. was pretty simple.
